From An Idea
We love bikes. It’s safe to say that we really love bikes. We’re not professionals, or even really good riders, but we’ve got the same bug that anyone who rides bikes has. Saturday has become another early rise day, up at 6am, brushing the sleep from eyes day. The unusual thing about this is that Saturday is the one day of the week that neither of us struggle to get out of bed for. Saturday is ride day.
When we’re not riding our bikes, we think about riding our bikes. We read bike magazines. We watch bike films. We scour Youtube for bike clips. We degrease and relube our chains. We become obsessive about PSI. Then, when the weekend rolls back round, we ride.
All of this bike obsessing led us to purchase some GoPros so that we could film our adventures. When we couldn’t get out to ride, we’d play with our footage and create little edits. It all started as a way of documenting our own riding for ourselves, but when we put them online we soon were bit by another bug. Sharing, receiving feedback and being able to share what riding is like at different venues is really interesting to us.
That’s what we do. We make videos whilst travelling the UK, showing different trails up and down the country and letting you know what they’re really like. There’s no financial gain in this. We’re not sponsored. The trail centres don’t know we’re filming. We’re honest and to the point so that anything we can share with you might actually help you decide whether you should ride that trail or not. And, we’re hopefully entertaining.
It’s just another way for us to share our love of bikes.
